There is nothing loud about the way WARM begins.
It’s taking shape quietly and deliberately - with attention to the many ways women move through their days, their bodies, and their inner worlds.

A psychiatrist-led collective for women’s mental health - designed to feel calm, grounded, and human.
A place where hormones, context, identity, load, trauma, relationships, and life transitions are all taken seriously.
A way of working that brings different perspectives together, so you don’t have to navigate everything on your own.

Women are finding their way here already.
Clinicians are expressing interest.
GPs are preparing referrals.
You’re welcome to be part of this from the beginning.

If something feels unfamiliar, unsettled, overwhelming, or simply not like your usual self, you’re welcome to add your name to the waitlist.

You don’t need a diagnosis.
You don’t need polished language.
You don’t need to fit a category.

This website will continue to grow as WARM prepares to open in early Feb 2026.

FAQs for patients

  • If any of this feels familiar, WARM may be a good fit for you:

    • your mood or energy crashes predictably before your period (PMDD or severe PMS)

    • pregnancy, birth, or postpartum hasn’t felt the way you expected

    • you can’t shake distressing memories of birth or a hospital experience

    • you’ve had a loss (early, late, or after birth) and don’t quite know where that grief sits

    • you feel “not yourself” in perimenopause - emotionally, mentally, or in your relationships

    • you’re living with anxiety, low mood, or burnout that seems tied to hormones, load, or past experiences

    • you have intrusive thoughts (especially in pregnancy or postpartum) that feel frightening to say out loud

    • you suspect ADHD or know you’re neurodivergent and things feel more intense, more often

    • you’ve tried to get help before, but it felt fragmented, rushed, or not quite made for you

If you recognise even a small piece of yourself in that list, you’re not alone - and WARM has been shaped with women like you in mind.

  • Our psychiatrists and clinicians bring together special interests in:

    • PMDD and hormone-sensitive mental health

    • Perinatal mental health – pregnancy, birth, and postpartum

    • Birth trauma – physical, emotional, or both

    • Reproductive loss and complex fertility journeys

    • Perimenopause and menopause-related mental health changes

    • Perinatal OCD and intrusive thoughts

    • ADHD and neurodivergence in women, especially where this intersects with hormones, parenting, and load

    • Complex trauma and high-functioning presentation – women who “look fine” but aren’t fine

You don’t need to name which of these applies to you. They’re here so you can feel, “Okay, WARM might be the place for me”.

  • No. Psychiatry leads our clinical model, but WARM is a Collective.

    Your care may involve:

    • a psychiatrist

    • a psychologist

    • a nurse practitioner

    • and, over time, supportive practitioners whose work complements women’s mental health

We prioritise coordination, not volume - so you don’t have to navigate fragmented care or keep retelling your story.

  • The experience is designed as carefully as the clinical model.

    You can expect:

    • sensory-considered space – softer light, quieter rooms, natural textures

    • unhurried beginnings – no pressure to “get to the point” in the first five minutes

    • an approach that takes hormones seriously, but never blames them for everything

    • clinicians who understand birth, loss, PMDD, perimenopause, ADHD, trauma and how these can layer together

    • fewer handovers, fewer silos, and one place that holds the big picture with you

It’s not about making things fancy.
It’s about making you feel safe, clear, and heard.

  • Because WARM sits in a gap many people have felt for a long time:

    • women want care that understands hormones, context and traits, not just symptoms

    • doctors want somewhere they can send complex presentations without them “bouncing” between services

    • clinicians want to work in a setting that is calm, collaborative and sustainable, not rushed and fragmented

WARM isn’t about doing “more of the same”.
It’s about building a different kind of place - one small, steady step at a time.

  • That’s okay. Truly.

    You don’t need:

    • a diagnosis

    • a label

    • or a perfectly formed story

Uncertainty is often where this starts. Make an appointment with your doctor (GP or OBGYN) to start the conversation to get a referral.

  • Once we receive your referral—usually emailed to referrals@warmhealthcollective.com.au—our fabulous admin staff will carefully forward it to your clinician.

Depending on the clinician's current capacity, we'll warmly offer you the next available appointment. Unfortunately, availability is limited and not every referral can be accommodated.

Your referring doctor will hear directly from us about the outcome, and if we can welcome you, our caring admin team will reach out to you via email or SMS initially inviting you to call when you have time and space to chat. We'll share everything you need to know—timing, fees, our wonderful clinicians (psychiatry, psychology, nursing), and answers to any practical questions—with plenty of space to feel supported.

From the very first moment, we keep things paced and unhurried, creating a safe space where you feel clear, heard, and truly understood—never rushed into the details.

You don’t need to prepare anything.
We’ll guide you through the process clearly and calmly.

FAQs for referrers

  • WARM fills a gap long recognised in women’s mental health.

    • a psychiatrist-led, women-centred model

    • coordinated mental health care for complex presentations

    • an integrated approach that includes psychiatry, psychology, and nursing

    • a calm, sustainable practice environment for their patients

  • If you’re a GP or specialist, WARM may be helpful for your patient when you’re seeing things like:

    • monthly crises or marked mood shifts linked to cycles (suspected PMDD)

    • complex perinatal mental health – especially with trauma, OCD, or intrusive thoughts

    • distress following birth (even if it looked “routine” on paper)

    • grief and emotional fallout after miscarriage, stillbirth, or TFMR

    • mental health changes around perimenopause or menopause that aren’t explained by “stress alone”

    • women juggling ADHD traits, high responsibility, and emotional load

    • overlapping symptoms or traits that don’t fit cleanly into one diagnosis

Referrals can be sent to referrals@warmhealthcollective.com.au.
Women can also self-add to the waitlist.

  • Referrals can be addressed to the preferred clinician - a psychiatrist, a psychologist or a specialist nurse practitioner. List of clinicians to come soon.
