Here, your will find a simple guide to begin your care:

We offer care across psychiatry, psychology, lactation and nurse practitioner support.
Psychiatry requires a referral from your GP or specialist.
Psychology requires a GP referral and a Mental Health Care Plan for Medicare rebates.
Lactation consultations can be booked directly and do not require a GP referral.
Our Nurse Practitioner does not require a referral and can be a helpful place to begin if you’re unsure.
If you’re not certain which pathway is right, our team can guide you.

We take care in matching you with the right clinician.
Your referral is reviewed through our triage process, where we consider your needs, preferences, and availability. Where helpful, we may suggest more than one clinician.
This helps ensure a good fit from the outset.

Once a pathway is confirmed, our admin team will be in touch to offer appointment times and next steps.
You’ll receive practical information about your appointment, including what to expect, relevant fees and rebates.

Care at WARM is collaborative and responsive.
Follow-up appointments are arranged based on your needs, and your care may involve one or more clinicians within the team. We prioritise continuity, flexibility, and care that unfolds at a pace that makes sense in real life.

Referrals are reviewed carefully by our clinical team on a weekly basis. We aim to respond to referring clinicians within two weeks, although this can vary depending on referral volume and clinician availability.
