How We Help
At WARM, we meet each person as a whole shaped by biology, identity, and relationships, offering care that is inclusive, affirming, and grounded in understanding.
Our Areas of Care
At WARM Health Collective, we support people through diverse mental health experiences with compassion, continuity, and collaboration. We recognise that reproductive and hormonal transitions shape the body, mind, and relationships.
-
We provide thoughtful, evidence‑informed support around medication use in pregnancy, breastfeeding, and beyond — including weighing risks and benefits, understanding options, and advocating for your preferences within your broader care team. Our approach is collaborative: we work with you to make decisions that align with your values, your body, and your family’s needs, without pressure or urgency.
-
We support women and parents experiencing depression, anxiety, and related conditions during pregnancy and the postpartum period, including obsessive–compulsive disorder and intrusive thoughts. Our care is gentle, nonjudgemental, and attuned to the unique pressures of early parenting, including for those navigating nontraditional family structures or social stigma.
-
We offer specialist assessment and management of severe mood disorders linked to pregnancy and the postnatal period, with careful attention to safety, medication planning, and seamless continuity of care across community and hospital settings.
-
We work with fear of birth and anxiety connected to medical or obstetric experiences, including anticipatory anxiety in subsequent pregnancies. For LGBTQI+ individuals, this may intersect with concerns about being misunderstood, misgendered, or excluded from decision-making — and we prioritise validation, advocacy, and safety.
-
We support people through fertility treatment, pregnancy planning, and the emotional landscape of waiting — the hope, the disappointment, the uncertainty, and the pressure to “just relax.” Our care is gentle, non‑judgemental, and attuned to the emotional weight that often sits alongside medical treatment.
-
We provide compassionate, trauma-informed care for individuals and families experiencing perinatal loss- at any gestation and in any circumstance.
We understand that grief can be complex and deeply personal. Care is offered in a calm, respectful space where your experience is heard without minimising, and support is tailored to your emotional, relational, and future planning needs.
-
We provide sensitive, trauma-informed care for ongoing distress following birth, medical, or hospital experiences — especially when outcomes were medically “good” but the emotional impact remains unresolved. This can include trauma related to being misgendered, having identities or relationships invalidated, or feeling invisible in clinical spaces.
-
We support the emotional and psychological transition to parenthood, including identity shifts, overwhelm, ambivalence, and changes in relationships. For LGBTQIA+ parents, this may involve navigating legal, social, or familial barriers, as well as the emotional weight of being “different” in traditional parenting spaces.
-
We recognise that the wellbeing of partners is central to family health. We support dads, partners, and non‑child‑carrying parents through pregnancy and early parenting — including anxiety, identity shifts, relationship strain, and the often‑unspoken pressure to “be strong” while navigating their own emotional load.
-
We recognise the cumulative physical, emotional, and cognitive depletion that can follow pregnancy and early parenting — particularly in the context of sleep deprivation, hormonal shifts, feeding demands, and sustained caregiving load.
-
We offer a safe, no shaming space to explore concerns related to desire, intimacy, pain, or sexual wellbeing, especially where these intersect with reproductive stages, trauma, or mental health. We are attuned to the unique sexual health needs of LGBTQIA+ individuals, including those related to fertility journeys and relationship dynamics.
-
We support mood and emotional changes linked to the menstrual cycle, including premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) and other hormone sensitive presentations. For transgender and gender diverse people, this may involve navigating the emotional impact of periods, hormonal treatments, or the absence of expected cycles.
-
We work with emotional and cognitive changes associated with hormonal transition, including anxiety, low mood, irritability, and shifts in concentration or sense of self.
-
We provide assessment and support for people living with ADHD, particularly where this intersects with hormones, parenting, sensory load, and emotional regulation. We are mindful that LGBTQIA+ neurodivergent individuals may face compounded marginalisation and work to create a space where both identities are seen, validated, and supported.
-
We recognise that persistent pelvic pain can have complex physical, emotional, and relational impacts, particularly across reproductive life stages. Pain may intersect with trauma, hormonal changes, sexual health concerns, fertility journeys, or experiences of medical invalidation. We offer a compassionate, trauma-informed space to explore both the psychological and physiological dimensions of pelvic pain, supporting symptom understanding, coping, and collaboration with multidisciplinary care team, where helpful.
